OIC Today, an economic magazine that will play the role of information provider and communication link between Muslim nations or members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has now come into existence to serve the Muslim business community at large.
The launch of the magazine by Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi indicates the importance of such a pan-Muslim publication.
OIC Today, in magazine format published by Ramcel Media in Collaboration, with Malaysia OIC Trade Chamber based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia will focus on business and economy and will be the mouthpiece of the Muslim nations who are seeking partners in progress and development. “It will be bridging gap in information dissemination, avoiding what has affected the relationship between the Muslim nations for decades, a problem that has never been addressed before,” said Dato’ Dr. Raja Mohamad, the Executive Chairman of Ramcel Media, the Official Publisher of OIC Today. “The OIC countries and the rest of the Muslims in the world now have a mouth piece that will provide news, views and analysis on the Islamic world to them. It will be a monthly economic magazine that will serve the OIC business community,” added the Chairman. Communication between OIC nations will be a very important element and will determine the revival of trade and business within the OIC and possibly the best way to achieve that, is by putting up a publication like OIC Today. OIC Today acts as the Gateway to Islamic Countries, which is a series of articles on the Malaysia’s capacity to lead the Islamic Economic world into major developments. As mentioned by our Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Haji Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, that serious attention has to be given to enhance and encourage OIC countries to trade among themselves. The OIC Today magazine contains latest information on trade activities in the OIC countries and also Malaysia as the Chairman of OIC.
